Prohibited Products
This page lists products that are prohibited or subject to strict compliance control on Shearerline. Suppliers must confirm compliance with U.S., Brazilian, and platform rules before listing.
Platform-Wide Prohibited Products
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, narcotics, controlled drugs, prohibited chemicals, forged documents, pirated or infringing goods, and products related to illegal sexual, violent, or prohibited content.
- Flammable, explosive, corrosive, radioactive, or highly toxic chemicals; non-compliant standalone lithium batteries; and other high-risk goods banned by air or ocean transport.
- Human organs, medical waste, live pets, perishable or near-expiry food, non-compliant funeral products, and any goods the platform determines may disrupt transaction order.
U.S. Strong-Compliance Categories
- Electronics and electrical products may require FCC or other applicable certifications. Food, supplement, beauty-medical, and medical-related products may require FDA or other regulatory compliance.
- E-cigarettes, tobacco or substitute products, alcoholic beverages, and children products that do not meet CPSIA safety standards must not be listed in violation of applicable rules.
Brazil Strong-Compliance Categories
- Electrical appliances, toys, automotive parts, and other products may require INMETRO or other applicable certifications.
- Beauty, food, drug, medical, and health-related products may require ANVISA or other regulatory approvals.
- Brazil customs-restricted agricultural products, unquarantined animals or plants, gambling products, and prohibited extremist religious goods must not be listed.
Special Review
- Medical devices, veterinary drugs, specialty chemicals, battery or liquid products, and other special categories must pass platform-specific review before listing. Products that fail review are treated as prohibited.
